A place to explore and discover books, themes and the life of world renowned, Nobel Prize winning author, William Golding.

We were privileged to be invited by Jon Waring of 3Sixty Design to take part in the redesign of the digital makeover for William Golding Ltd.

Mobile first

The idea that the website would be used as a resource tool for exploring and learning greatly influenced the user experience and visual design. In turn, the front-end was developed to be lean and highly performant across all devices – small screens and large.

Until the grown-ups come to fetch us we'll have fun

We experimented and played with various methods of transitioning from the homepage to the three main sections of the site.

Terrell Carver (Director – William Golding Ltd): Our multi-platform digital makeover was conceived as a state of the art project, making it easy for us to generate content that fits any number of media formats. In sum we got a top-class product!
