About this role
Shopify development will make up a significant proportion of the role, and whilst Shopify experience is not essential, we are searching for someone who has a willingness to learn to develop within the Shopify ecosystem.
We will make sure you are well looked after and given all the necessary training so you feel your career is moving in the right direction, on a day-to-day and long-term basis.
Our priority is finding the ‘right person’ for this role, as we believe the ‘right skillset’ can always be learnt over time.
Your specific objectives
Ideally you will have 2 or more years experience as a Front-end Developer and will be confident with the following skillset:
- Shopify development (training will be provided if needed)
- Using task runners like Webpack
- Working closely with UX/design team to translate UI into code (any experience here would be considered a bonus)
- A passion for forward thinking development processes and workflows
Experience with API integrations would be a massive plus point. If the experience is lacking, we are open to applicants who feel they could easily turn their hand to this type of work.
Your personal qualities and experience:
We are looking for a person who is a lateral thinker, well organised, and is able to effectively communicate to different team members.
We need a proactive person who is consistent in their approach to work and problem solving. Someone who ‘comes alive’ when faced with a problem and has the ability to empathise and consider both the team and client when reaching a solution – someone who cares about what they do.
